AAP alleges Kiran Bedi of violating Model Code of Conduct

New Delhi, Feb 07: The AAP alleged BJP's chief ministerial face Kiran Bedi of violating the model code of conduct in Krishna Nagar from where she is contesting in the Delhi assembly polls today.

The party has filed a complaint before the Election Commission in this regard.

The AAP alleged that Bedi stood up on the car and later she ran to the polling station asking the voters to exercise the electoral right in the constituency.

However, BJP defended her saying she was not motivating the voters to vote for the party. She was running to the booth as the parking area was distant and she wanted to reach the spot soon.

Both the political parties do not spare a chance to blame each other.

Meanwhile, BJP candidate Nupur Sharma also alleged the AAP workers of manhandling her and female friends at Princess Park near India Gate today.
