Black Money Probe: List of Indians in Swiss Banks Doubled

New Delhi, Feb 09: The black money issue took another turn after the list of Indians was doubled with the claim by the HSBC bank that around 1200 India nationals hold the accounts in Swiss Banks.

While the French authorities had given a list of 628 names to Indian government, the latest claim of about 1195 names including top businessmen and politicians will trigger the storm over the issue in the upcoming Budget session of the Parliament.

Following the report, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley said that the process of assessing will be over by March 31.
