Bihar CM Manjhi expelled from JD(U)

Patna, Feb 09: In an ongoing political crisis in Bihar, chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday was expelled from his party JD(U) after he defied party's decision to quit the post for Nitish Kumar.

Manjhi was removed from party after he consulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Bihar political crisis. The JD(U) accused Manjhi of taking the help from BJP to stay in his post.

Meanwhile, defiant Manjhi refused to resign from his post as the CM and said hat he will prove the majority on the floor. If fails, he will quit.
