Patna, Feb 09: Both the former and present chief ministers of Bihar Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi met the Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi on Monday and claimed that they are ready for a floor test in the Assembly to come in power.
Both the leaders claimed that they have support from the JD(U) MLAs. The political crisis is still on. With the termination from JD(U) today, Manjhi is now the CM without party. However, he is confident that he will win the floor test to prove the majority.
Talking to media after meeting with the Governor, Manjhi said that he was ready for the test but with a condition that the voting should be by the secret ballot and Nitish Kumar should not be there in the House when the Ballot boxes will be opened.
Nitish is also prepared for the test while claiming his strength with the support of 130 MLAs to form the government.
