Kejriwal meets Rajnath Singh, demands Full Statehood for Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 11: AAP convener and Delhi chief minister-in-waiting Arvind Kejriwal started his work to meet people's expectation a day after the landslide victory in the assembly elections. Today, he met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and demanded full statehood for Delhi.

Kejriwal met Rajnath Singh at his residence this afternoon and demanded complete statehood for Delhi that was a part of his party's election manifesto.

The AAP tsunami has routed the BJP and Congress in the assembly polls in Delhi giving the two national parties no opportunity even to sit in opposition. This was the suicidal situation for Congress, which could not open its account in the battle.
