OPOLFED banned in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: Odisha government on Wednesday imposed restriction on the operations of at least 54 OPOLFED in the state capital. With this order, no business unit would be set up under this name OPOLFED here.

The authorities will take strong action against the accused for failing to obey the order. The OPOLFED booths were causing environment pollution in the city due to sale of chickens and eggs on the streets.

Earlier, a showcause notice had been issued to the booth agents by the Orissa High Court on the basis of the allegations that the OPOLFED ran fast food business under this name in the city.
