Odisha Chief Information Commissioner Tarun Kanti Mishra quits

Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: Top bureaucrat and Odisha Chief Information Commissioner Tarun Kanti Mishra has resigned from his job citing personal reasons. Now the RTI users of the state will get another face as the CIC.

Mishra resigned after completing his 4 years as the CIC. The 1975 batch IAS officer had retired from the government service in August 2010. He was appointed as the CIC on Nov 15, 2010 replacing DN Padhee.
