Bus Fare cut by 2 paise per km in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: Odisha government on Thursday reduced the bus fare in all the categories by 2 paise with immediate effect. This is the second cut in the prices in eight days after the fuel prices slashed in the country.

With the reduction in bus fare, the ordinary bus fare will be from 59 to 57 paise per km. The fare will be from 62 to 60 paise per km for express buses, 80 paise for deluxe buses and the bus fare for AC deluxe buses came down from Rs 1.01 to 99 paisa per km.

Earlier, the bus fare was cut by 1 paise on February 4.
