Bangalore-Eknakulam Express derails, 8 Dead

Karnataka, Feb 13: At least 8 people died when nine coaches of Bangalore-Eknakulam Intercity express train derailed on Friday near Anekal and Hosur. More than 60 people were injured in the incident. They were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The rescue operation team rushed to the incident site to save the passengers trapped in the coaches. The express train derailed around 7.40 am between Anekal-Hosur.
