3 Gadget Looters arrested in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Three people were arrested for looting gadgets from an electronic godown in Pahala, on the outskirts of Odisha capital. Police seized electronic goods worth more than Rs 3 crore.

Twin City Commissioner of Police (CP) Dr RP Sharma said that police arrested Manoj Kumar Mandal from Pahala, the other two Nanda Mallick and Manoj Kumar Rout from Jajpur and seized huge amount of electronic goods including more than 500 mobile phones, 204 tablets, 215 laptops, 35 bluetooths, 2200 pen drives, 180 dongles, 400 data cards, 8 LED monitors and so on.

He said that four were involved in the plan. Nihar Ranjan Beuda, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the crime, is still at large. While Manoj Kumar Mandal hails from Nayagarh district, two others are from Jajpur. The accused had looted the gadgets from the godown on Feb 9.
