Egypt launches Air Strikes against IS in Libya after Mass Beheading

Egypt launched bomb attacks targeting the Islamic State militants and their camps in Libya on Monday, a day after the group released a video showing the barbaric act against the Egyptian Christians in a sea beach.

For the first time, Egypt went on aggressive against the IS in Libya, vowing to eliminate the group from there. The air strikes came just a day after the video showed the mass beheading of 21 Egyptians at a sea beach in Libya.

According to media reports, around 40 to 50 militants were killed in the attack on day one. Even the Libyan air force also joined carrying out the attacks against the group. The war against the extremists will continue.
