Hindu Temple Targeted in US with Message Get Out

Seattle, Feb 17: A Hindu temple was targeted in the United States with a message "Get Out" on the temple wall from the country, triggering strong reactions from the Hindu community.

The 20-year-old temple was vandalised by unidentified miscreants in the Seattle Metropolitan area of Washington a day before the Holy Shiv Ratri, one of the important festivals of Hindus.

The incident created a shockwave among the Hindu community in the US, prompting the authorities to launch a probe.

The miscreants painted Get Out near the Swastik sign on the temple wall.  Condemning the incident, the Hindu community said that this occurred a day before Hindu are about to celebrate Maha Shiv Ratri in the temple.
