MPPEB Scam: MP CM refutes Allegations by Digvijaya Singh

News

Bhopal, Feb 17: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday refuted the allegations leveled by senior Congress leader on the issue of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam stating it completely baseless.

Chouhan said that this was a conspiracy against him by dragging him into the issue. He said that he works for people and their causes. But Congress has no issue to discuss about and for this reason he is in the target.

Alleging Digvijaya Singh, he said that the Congress leader has been trying to conspire against him and bring false claims as he cannot see his good image for which the people of Madhya Pradesh have been choosing him as their leader.

He said that the probe is underway and that is being conducted by the SIT under the supervision of the High Court. Everything will be clear very soon.

His statement came a day after Digvijaya Singh alleged that there was a big scam in the recruitment examination for various government posts and he suspected the CM's role in the scam.

He alleged that the original excel sheet seized from a computer was tampered with to shield Chouhan and his family.
