Bhubaneswar, Feb 17: Only five papers of the Science stream in the +2 exams conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be evaluated in the process of e-evaluation in Odisha.
The government has decided to exclude English, MIL and other optional subjects in the Science stream from the e-evaluation fearing massive possible problems in the new process and system.
As per the decision, only five papers including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Zoology will have e-evaluation this year.
Earlier, the Higher Education department was in dilemma after deciding to follow the e-evaluation process for the error-free evaluation in the CHSE exams. However, later, the decision was altered and restricted to just Science stream.
The experts had raised questions on the error-free evaluation through the new system within a short period of time. The government also held a series of meetings to reach the conclusion.
