Centre gives Clean Chit to AAP over Fund Row

New Delhi, Feb 18: In a surprise move, the central government on Wednesday has given a clean chit to the AAP over the foreign funds in the probe. The government has told the Delhi High Court that nothing was found illegal in the fund transfer.

It can be noted that BJP had taken on the AAP and its chief Arvind Kejriwal over the transfer of money to the party during the election campaign in Delhi. However, nothing was found in violation of law.

After Delhi poll results, this is second victory for AAP that had been facing flak from the BJP leaders over the issue after the AAP Volunteer Action Manch (AVAM) alleged the party of receiving Rs 2 crore in four installments through fake companies last year.
