Prithvi-II Missile test-fired Successfully off Odisha Coast

Chandipur, Feb 19: The user trial of indigenously developed nuclear capable Prithvi-II surface-to-surface missile was conducted successfully this morning from a test range at Chandipur in Odisha's Balasore district.

The missile was test-fired with a strike range of Rs 350 km by the Strategic Force Command (SFC) of army at around 9.20 am from a mobile launcher complex 3 of the ITR.

The Prithvi-II is capable of carrying 500 kg to 1,000 kg warheads.
