PM Modi attends Tilak Ceremony of Mulayam's Grandnephew

Saifai, Feb 21: Despite political differences and rivalries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew to Uttar Pradesh to visit Saifai village to attend the Tilak ritual, a pre-wedding ceremony of Samajwadi supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Singh Yadav.

Modi stayed there with the guests for 30 minutes and left for his pre-scheduled programmes.

Tej Pratap, who is the Mainpuri MP, will tie the knot with the youngest daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on February 26 in Delhi. The couple had got engaged on Dec 16.

Invitations have been sent to top political leaders, Bollywood celebrities and renowned personalities to attend the Tilak ceremony and as well as the wedding function of the couple.
