Govt accepts 14th FFC Recommendation to enhance Centre-State Relation

New Delhi, Feb 24: The Union government on Tuesday accepted the 14th Finance Commission's recommendation to respect the structure of federalism. The recommendation suggested the Centre to transfer 42% divisible pools including taxes and grants to the states.

The recommendation is for five year. With this latest move, the Centre is committed to bring inclusive growth and development under the tagline "Sab ka Saath, Sabka Bikas".

The FFC report was tabled in Lok Sabha earlier today by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
