HC reserves Verdict on Bail Plea of Pravat Tripathy

Cuttack, Feb 24: Giving no relief to Banki MLA Pravat Tripathy in the Artha Tatwa (AT) chit fund scam, the Orissa High Court on Tuesday reserved the verdict on his bail application.

Seems like, the political leaders accused in the mega chit fund case in Odisha will not be released from jail.

Tripathy, who was suspended from his party BJD following his arrest in connection with the chit fund scam, is currently lodged in Jharapada jail in Bhubaneswar. He was arrested for his alleged links with AT Group CMD Pradeep Sethy.
