Office of Rahul Gandhi rejects Uttarakhand Trip Claim

New Delhi, Feb 25: The office of Rahul Gandhi, Congress vice president, rejected the claims made by party worker Jagdish Sharma, who said that Rahul is holidaying in Uttarakhand.

Clarifying about the photos released by Sharma, the office said that the photos were old and taken when Rahul was on Uttarakhand trip in 2008.

The office made it clear that the leader is abroad, but did not reveal the exact location.

There was much speculation that Rahul went abroad during the budget session taking leave from work and being upset with the senior party leaders. His absence was debated lots by the party leaders as well as other parties after he skipped the budget session from the first day.

Amidst the war of words, Sharma released pictures Rahul claiming that he is in Uttarakhand.
