Three Arrested People in US Planning to join IS in Syria, claims FBI

New York, Feb 26: The FBI claimed that three people, who were arrested to support the extremism, wanted to join the Islamic State in Syria. The agency said that two of them had threatened to kill the cops and FBI agents in the US if they were not allowed to travel to Syria.

The FBI has arrested Abdurasul Juraboev (24), Abror Habibov (30), Akhror Saidakhmetov (19) on charges of conspiracy to provide material in support of the terror outfit. While Abdurasul and Abror are from Uzbekistan, Akhror Saidakhmetov belongs to Kazakhstan.

They were living in Brooklyn and conspiring against the US.

Police arrested Saidakhmetov from John F Kennedy International Airport in New York on Tuesday. He was trying to travel to Istanbul, Turkey, from where he would have visited Syria.

Abdurasul had a flight ticket from New York to Istanbul. He was scheduled to leave the country in March. Abror was allegedly helping to get fund and to join the IS in Syria.
