Odisha Govt gets Two Months Time More to decide on Mining Lease

New Delhi, Feb 27: The Supreme Court on Friday gave the Odisha government two months time more to take decision on the renewal of 18 mining lease in the state.

The apex court ordered after the state government filed a petition seeking more time to decide on giving lease for the second time. The government will review the 18 mines have whether followed the norms and regulations set up as per the Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation Ordinance 2015.
