New Delhi, Feb 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the Union budget 2015-16 presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday. He called it pro-people and investment-friendly without increasing the individual tax rates.
He lauded him for the budget that will open a path for more investments without compromising the common people's interest. The Minister has respected the aspirations of the states and gave more importance on the national projects and schemes.
Taking to twitter soon after the budget in Parliament, Modi said, "2015 Budget will further reignite our growth engine, signaling the dawn of a prosperous future".
In a series of tweets, he expressed his satisfaction over the budget. He tweeted, "Union Budget 2015 is a Budget with a clear vision. It is a Budget that is progressive, positive, practical, pragmatic & prudent".
