PM surprises All at Parliament Canteen, takes Lunch


New Delhi, March 02: Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised all by taking lunch at the Canteen of Parliament today. For the first time after assuming the office, he had lunch at the canteen meant for the MPs.

Modi went to Room Number 70, the canteen on the first floor of the Parliament. He joined some MPs for lunch. He had a veg thali (rice, rajma, potato curry, sarson ka saag, roti, and curd) and paid Rs 29 for meal. During the lunch, he also interacted with the MPs.

He also wrote on the visitors diary giving his best wishes to the canteen staff. He wrote in Hindi: Annadata sukhi Bhaba!!!
