Suspect Arrested in Killing of Bangladeshi Blogger

Dhaka, March 02: One suspect was arrested by police in connection with the killing of Bangladeshi blogger Abhijit Roy. He was hacked to death by some miscreants on Feb 27 for writing against Islamic extremism and terror outfits.

Police arrested Farabi Shafiur Rahman in Dhaka. He is accused of threatening Roy on social media to kill him.

Roy was killed in Dhaka while returning from Book Fair with his wife, who also sustained injuries in the attack, on Feb 27.
