Rift within AAP hurts Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, March 03: The rift within AAP has deeply hurt the party Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On Twitter, he expressed his displeasure over the latest developments.

"I am deeply hurt and pained by what is going on in the party. This is betrayal of trust that Delhi posed in us. I refuse to be drawn in this ugly battle. Will concentrate only on Delhi's governance,(sic)" Kejriwal tweeted.

He took to Twitter a day ahead of the party's National Executive meeting, scheduled on Wednesday.

There are reports that the top leaders in the party including Yogendra Yadav wanted to hold the Convener post replacing Kejriwal after the landslide victory of the party in the recent Delhi assembly polls.

There were allegations against Yadav that he conspired to get Kejriwal out of the post. The internal matter of the party came to fore after senior leader Prashant Bhushan wrote a letter to the National Executive alleging the party is turning into one person centric.

He also recommended Yadav's name to handle all the party affairs and take it to national level after the Delhities gave it a big thumbs up in the polls.
