Suresh Mohapatra New Chief Administrator of Jagannath Temple

Bhubaneswar, March 05: Top bureaucrat Suresh Chandra Mohapatra has been appointed as the chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration replacing Bikash Chandra Mohapatra following the protests and strike.

The 1986 batch IAS officer Mohapatra will take the charge during the crucial period ahead of Nabakalebar to deal with the problems and difficulties the temple servitors have been facing since a long time.

He is currently the principal secretary at the Energy department. Recently, he was appointed as the special officer of Nabakalebar.

Earlier, he was the chief administrator of Jagannath temple. He is believed to deliver his duties the best as he has good links with the temple servitors and chhatisha nijog.
