US Ambassador to S.Korea attacked in Seoul

Seoul, March 05: The US ambassador to South Korea was attacked on Thursday in Seoul. The injured US official was rushed to a hospital with injuries on his face and wrist.

Mark W. Lippert was attacked by a man with a sharp knife at an art centre in downtown Seoul where he was about to deliver his lecture on the divided Korean countries.

The condition of Lippert is stable now as per the media report. The attacker was identified as a 55-year-old man Kim Ki-jong.
