5 Killed in Firing at Restaurant in Mali

Mali, March 07: At least five people were killed and several injured in a shooting at a foreign Restaurant in Mali capital on Saturday. A masked gunman stormed the nightclub opening fire randomly on the people.

In the incident five people were killed including a French and Belgium national. Nine people were wounded including two Swiss soldiers.

The gunman after shooting jumped into a car, driven by his associates and fled.

According to reports, the nightclub La Terrasse restaurant and bar in Bamako is popular for Salsa dancing particularly on Friday night. The gunman targeted the foreign nationals in the club.
