Patna, March 09: Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi followed the fast politics today protesting the government led by Nitish Kumar, who scrapped the decisions taken by his cabinet.
The defiant leader sat on fast at Gandhi Maidan in Patna along with a few rebel JDU MLAs protesting against the Nitish government. Hitting out at Nitihs, Manjhi said that scrapping his cabinet decisions is illegal.
The decisions taken by his ministry were pro-poor people and welfare for the state.
The rebel leaders including Narendra Singh, Brishen Patel, Nitish Mishra, Mahachandra Prasad Singh, Gyanendra Singh Gyanoo, Poonam Devi, senior leaders Shivanand Tiwari and Shakuni Chaudhary were also seen along with him sitting under the statute of Gandhi to support their Mahadalit leader.
