Odisha Matric Exam: Headmaster, Staff Suspended after Student takes OMR Sheet

Bhubaneswar, March 12: The government suspended a headmaster and four other staff of a school in Nayagarh district after it was found that a student, who appeared the matric exam 2015, had taken the OMR sheet of the Sanskrit paper to his home instead of giving it to the invigilator during the exam.

The action against the head master and others of the Baunsiapada high school in Nayagarh district was taken after it came to light that one OMR sheet was missing. The evaluation of the answer sheets of the High School Certificate (HSC) examination will begin from March 17.

Such irregularities in the exam raised the questions on the error-free evaluation process in the state that will decide the fate of millions of students this year.
