Congress upset with Delhi Police over Queries about Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, March 14: Opposition Congress protested over the visit of Delhi police to the office of Rahul Gandhi and inquiries about his physical appearance. While party's vice president Rahul Gandhi's long absence sparked speculations, an alleged survey about his details raised several questions.

The party condemned the survey by the Delhi police and took on the government for allowing such queries in the name of security.

Reacting to the police survey, senior leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that the queries were made by Delhi Police ASI Samsher Singh last week. The party condemned the cops as well as the government for such type of queries.

The protests came a day after a team of Delhi police visited the office of Rahul Gandhi to make queries about his physical appearance. They asked few questions to the staff present at the office about the Congress heir.

They asked what colour of Rahul's eyes are, his hair, age, height, etc.

The queries about his looks made the Congress angry with the cops and government alleging that the Delhi police were spying about Rahul.
