New Delhi, March 16: Taking a strong action against its former MLA Rajesh Garg for sting operation against party Chief Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP on Monday suspended him from the party.
Garg was suspended for anti-party activities. He dared to conduct sting operation that claimed that Kejriwal was indulged in horse-trading to form the government in 2014.
He recorded a conversation between him and Kejriwal and later it was sent to media for exposing Kejriwal, who bats for corruption-free politics.
The action was taken against Garg after he sent a legal notice to party leader Kumar Vishwas alleging him to be blackmailer. In fact, he had forwarded the audio tape to him, but Vishwas charged him of blackmailing him.
It can be noted that the move came just hours before Kejriwal is scheduled to arrive in Delhi from Bengaluru, where he underwent treatment for chronic cough and high blood sugar.
