SJTA Meeting on Nabakalebara held Today

Puri, March 18: A panel meeting of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) began today on the upcoming Nabakalebara festival of Lord Jagannath in Puri. The meeting chaired by Puri king Gajapati Dibya Singha Dev is underway.

The temple administrator Suresh Chandra Mohapatra is also present at the meeting along with other panel members. They will discuss the smooth conduct of the mega festival of the Trinity and search for Daru.

However, the servitors of Maa Mangala have announced non-cooperation for the Banajoga yatra, scheduled on March 29, after they expressed dissatisfaction over the payments at a meeting yesterday with SJTA chief administrator and Daitapati Nijog of the Jagannath temple.
