World Cup 2015: Team India win by 109 Runs vs Bangladesh, reach Semifinal

Melbourne, March 19: Team India made its position strong in the ongoing world cup clash with a big win today against Bangladesh. The team reached semifinal by beating the opponent by 109 runs in the second quarter-final.

India is the first team in the world cup to bowl their rivals out in seven consecutive games. This is the seventh win in the international cup and the 100th ODI victory for the team under the captainship of MS Dhoni.

Hats off to Rohit Sharma whose ton that helped India to give a big challenge to Bangladesh with the score 302 in the tournament. Chasing the target, team Bangladesh lost all the wickets in 45 overs. Umesh Yadav deserved best compliments for taking four wickets. 

Rohit Sharma was declared the Man of the Match for his 126-ball 137.
