Mumbai, March 20: Several celebrities set the ramp ablaze at one of the most awaited and renowned Lakme fashion week by wearing outfits of some of the celebrated designers.
The day two of the fashion week brought in an amazing fusion of heritage, royalty and vintage charm.
Actress Dia Mirza walked on the ramp for designer Anavila Mishra, who showcased amazing collection of saris.
Showstopper Riteish Deshmukh walked the ramp for designer Raghavendra Rathore in a navy blue sky suit, which he paired with a pair of white pants. He praised the work of the designer.
The actor, who is a young dad of one, completed his royal dapper style with a heavy golden embellished jacket and a bearded appearance too. He surely was one of the most handsome men to have walked the ramp.
"I think when you wear designer clothes of rathore, an ordinary automatically converts or transforms into royalty. I think that is the specialty of his clothes (Raghavendra Rathore)", said actor Riteish Deshmukh.
Shraddha Kapoor was the surprise showstopper for the extravaganza. She looked amazing in her attire as she walked the ramp at day two of the renowned fashion week 2015. The actress said she loves to shop and likes to pep up her wardrobe with variety of clothes.
"When I go for shopping I definitely want variety. I think that is something which is Miss Bennett London has offers. I think that is awesome," said Shraddha.
Known as true Indian beauty Vidya Balan also graced the ramp wearing her trademark Kanjivaram Saree designed by celebrated fashion designer Gaurang Shah. She looked stunningly beautiful in a gorgeous pink and gold saree as she glided down the catwalk to thunderous applause.
"I was thrilled that Gaurav (Designer) brought this to me and he said it is a kanjivaram but it is an organza Kanjivaram which is something that I had not heard before I have seen it. It falls beautifully", Vidya Balan said.
