Total Solar Eclipse Today, Millions watch in UK, Europe

London, March 20: Millions watched the greatest total solar eclipse today in the UK and northern Europe countries.

Many parts of the northern countries were covered by darkness when the moon came between Earth and Sun on this moonless day.

Several foreign media captured the startling scene on their cameras.

The shadow began first in the North Atlantic and then the Arctic, and ended at the North Pole.

However, Asian countries including India could not witness the breathtaking event.
