WC 2015: New Zealand beat South Africa by 4 Wickets, reach Final

Auckland, March 24: New Zealand team qualified for the final match of the World Cup 2015 for the first time. They beat South Africa by 4 wickets chasing the target 282. The team scored 299 in 42.5 overs at Eden Park, Auckland.

NZ batsman Grant Elliott was the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 84.

The match NZ vs SA was a tough fight in the first semi-final today. The SA team scored 281 with the loss of 5 wickets in 43.2 overs. Chasing the target NZ collected 299 runs losing 6 wickets. This is the highest run-chase by any team in a knockout game in world cups.

The team will meet the winner of 2nd semi-final at the MCG in the grand final. The second semi will be between India and Australia on March 26 in Sydney.
