Kashmir Separatist Leader booked for Hoisting Pakistan Flag

Srinagar, March 25: An FIR has been registered against Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Asiya Andrabi for unfurling Pakistan flag on its national day in Srinagar. Asiya has been booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

Asiya is the chief of the Dukhtaran-e-Millat women's wing which is associated with the Hurriyat and is one of the most prominent separatist leaders. She is alleged to have not only unfurled the Pakistani flag but also sing its national anthem along with some of her supporters. Asiya herself has confessed that she hoisted Pak flag on its national day.

"Now today we had celebrated this day on all the headquarters and district headquarters and here it was a central celebration in Srinagar. It was presided over by me. We hoisted the Pakistani flag and we sung the Pakistani national anthem. Hundreds of women were present in this function and I told them about our responsibilities for this Kashmir issue. Everyone present there enjoyed this function and they said Inshallah, we are with you", said Asiya.
