Saudi Arabia launches Military Operation in Yemen against Rebels

Riyadh, March 26: Saudi Arabia has launched airstrike in Yemen to protect the government of the country against the rebels that have captured a large part of the Arabic nation.

Although, the US is not involved in the military operation in Yemen to fight against the rebel forces, Saudi Arabia, one of the major allies of America, consulted with Obama before taking decision to attack the militants in the country.

The move came after the militants joining the Houthi movement threatened to occupy the southern port of Aden, where the Yemeni President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has reportedly taken refuge fleeing the country.
