Payment issue Resolved, Mangala Servitors to cooperate during Banajaga Yatra

Puri, March 26: In a big relief for the Odisha government, the servitors of Maa Mangala temple at Kakatpur have agreed to cooperate with the Banajaga team as the payment issue has been resolved ahead of the Nabakalebara yatra.

The servitors of Kakatpur Mangala temple had threatened to boycott the Banajaga Yatra after expressing dissatisfaction over their long pending dues. The matter has been sorted out after the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) assured them to clear their payment.

The decision was taken for the smooth conduct of the Banajaga yatra that will begin from March 29. The Banajaga team will leave for Kakatapur to pray the Godess Maa Mangala who will guide them for their mission "In search of Daru for making the idols of three Lords - Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra".
