Odisha Police Constable Exam Rescheduled on April 5

Bhubaneswar, March 28: The examination for recruiting constables in Odisha police, which was cancelled following question paper leak 15 days before, will be conducted on April 5.

Elaborate arrangements will be made for the exam, which was originally scheduled on March 15.

The recruitment test for the post of constable in Odisha police was cancelled just minutes after the reports came that the question papers were sold. Nearly 40,000 candidates had applied for 1300 constable posts.

The crime branch took up the matter and arrested six persons including four police personnel, a candidate who was to appear the test and an outsider for their involvement in the question paper leak.
