358 Indians arrive from Yemen Today

Mumbai, April 02: Around 358 Indian nationals from war-torn Yemen arrived in Mumbai and Kochi airports on Thursday. They were brought in two groups by IAF planes.

While 168 Indians landed at 2 am at the Kochi airport, other 190 people came by C17 Globemaster and landed at 3.30 am in Mumbai.

The evacuated Indians were brought back via Djibouti after they came on a Navy ship from Aden in Yemen.

The Indian government acted quickly after the situation worsened in Yemen following the airstrike launched by Saudi Arabia against the rebel forces.
