AT Chit Fund Scam: Debasish Panda interrogated by CBI

Bhubaneswar, April 02: In an ongoing investigation into chit fund scam in Odisha, Debasish Panda, former additional government pleader was grilled by the CBI on Thursday.

Panda was interrogated for more than two hours at CBI office in Bhubaneswar in connection with Artha Tatwa (AT) Group chit fund scam.

He refused to disclose what he was asked by the investigative agency.

He was grilled on the basis of a directive of the Orissa High Court that ordered Panda to appear before the CBI on April 2.

Panda is accused of having links with the AT group Chief Pradeep Sethy. His name cropped after the raids at the residence of Crime Branch DSP Pramod Panda in connection with the AT scam.

Following the raid, the CBI had sought permission from the court to grill him in the case.
