300 More Indians rescued from Yemen

New Delhi, April 03: More than 300 Indians were evacuated from the war-torn Yemen taking the total number of the rescued people to over 800. They were brought from port city of Al Hudaydah.

The Navy vessel INS Sumitra that had earlier evacuated 358 Indians from Aden on Tuesday night brought over 300 Indians from Al Hudaydah port.

The war-torn Yemen witnessed heavy gun battle and airstrikes launched by Saudi Arabia government against the rebel forces after Yemeni President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi fled the country.
