Saina Nehwal makes Her Way into Malaysian Open Semis

Kualalumpur, World No.1 Saina Nehwal maintained her winning streak by beating Chinese Sun Yu 21-11, 18-21, 21-17 in 71 minutes to reach the semi-finals of the Malaysian Open Super Series Premier at the Putra Stadium today.

Nehwal reached World No.1 ranking last month at the India Open Series in front of the home crowd after clinching the title beating Thailand's Ratchanok Intanon.

The Olympic bronze medalist will now meet reigning Olympic champion and former World No.1 Li Xuerui on Saturday.
