New Delhi, April 04: BJP leader and former IPS Officer Kiran Bedi on Saturday came out in support of the AAP rebel leader Prashant Bhushan, who was recently kicked out of the national executive of the party and other key positions for raising voice against party chief Arvind Kejriwal.
Bedi, who was one time colleague of Kejriwal in the anti-graft revolution launched by veteran social activist Anna Hazare, said that the reasons for which Bhushan was sacked, she had felt it earlier.
Taking to Twitter, Bedi wrote, "Why do you think I and even a few others left the group early on? @mmdvv: your comments on Prashant Bhushan's open letter to Kejriwal?"
Bhushan in an open letter to Kejriwal after he was sacked from the national executive had compared him to Stalin. He alleged that Kejriwal compromised with all the morals, ethics and principles of the party to win the Delhi elections.
He further alleged that Kejriwal joined hands with some of the corrupt politicians and asked volunteers to campaign for them. He said that the AAP chief killed the trust of many people who left their jobs to join AAP.
