Yemeni Woman seeks Help from Indian Govt

New Delhi, April 06: A Yemeni woman has written a letter to Union Minister for External Minister Sushma Swaraj seeking help for her evacuation along with her baby from the war-torn country.

The woman is waiting to be evacuated from Yemen and posted the picture of her 8-month-old son with a message for his safe arrival in India.

Sabah Shawesh is a Yemeni woman. She married to an India. She took to Twitter seeking help from Indian government. "This is my little son and source of love. Wish him to reach India safe".

Responding to the message, Sushma tweeted on Sunday, "Welcome home baby and @SabahShawesh". They will be rescued and brought back to India safely.

Over 800 Indian nationals have been evacuated so far from Yemen after the airstrike launched by Saudi Arabia against rebel forces. More than 1500 people are yet to be rescued from Yemen.
