Amit Shah hits out at Congress over Flawed Policies, Ideologies

New Delhi, April 06: BJP President Amit Shah hit out at the Congress party over its policies and ideologies criticisng that the party never follows high ideologies and morals like BJP that respects its leaders without using them to gain votes for the party.

Addressing the party workers in New Delhi on the occasion of the 35th "Sthapna Diwas" of the BJP, Shah said that the party works for people and it respects its workers unlike Congress. "This moves forward with some philosophy and ideology", he said.

When India got freedom from British rule, Congress was talking about construction of a new India. But the BJP used to say now that the country should be reconstructed. "What was there, that was good and we should try to make that better", he said.

He said that the party is fortunate to have its leaders who were the symbols of sacrifice. Talking about Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhyay, he said that they sacrificed their life for nation.

He also gave the example of veterans like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani, Mahavir Tyagi, Sundar Singh Bhandari, Kusabhau Thackeray, Kailashpati Mishra, Jagannath Rao Joshi,Rajmata Scindia and many others who sacrificed lots for the party.

Speaking at the event, Shah criticised Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP saying the party knows how to promote the party and build a brand. He mocked the AAP over the internal crisis by sayin that very few political parties have internal democracy like BJP.

People who call themselves as Aam Aadmi and get votes should know about the fact that many BJP leaders, who did not have a bank account in their whole life, did not possess a house, or family. But they were living for the country and this was their family. But they had never done marketing for that. They were down-to-earth and common men.

"Sacrifice is not done for publicity; this is a holy work for the betterment of nation. We never try to use it as publicity stunt", he said.
