New Delhi, April 06: The Janata Parivar was finally merged to take on the ruling BJP at Centre and will plan strategies to stop the party eyeing the Bihar polls. The announcement about the merger will be made by Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh soon.
Mulayam has called Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) chief HD Deve Gowda at his residence to discuss on the merger issue. The former prime minister is also ready to be part of the Parivar.
Six parties of Janata Parivar - Samajwadi Party, RJD, JD(U), INLD, Samajwadi Janata Party and JD(S) were merged on Sunday. The name of the new political party and its symbol will be decided soon.
